WH-Asunnot properties have a strong history

WH-Asunnot owns about 2000 residences located mainly in industrial cities around Finland.  The company’s local offices are at Rauma, Joensuu, Lahti, Tampere and Valkeakoski. In addition to the above locations, we offer rental housing through our partners in Heinola, Helsinki, Jyväskylä, Karkkila, Lappeenranta, Lohja and Savonlinna. The company’s headquarters is located in Helsinki.

Our current residences around Finland serve as a foundation upon which WH-Asunnot intends to build with broader investments into the housing market. We are prepared to increase the amount of our housing units through such investments.

Property owned by the company has a long history. The buildings in which WH-Asunnot has invested were originally constructed to support the competitiveness of local factories.  The demand for these apartments has always been great and many original tenants still live in these buildings.

In February 2007 the property changed hands when long-term owner UPM-Kymmene Oyj sold their capital stock to WH-Asunnot.

The strong history of the properties has created a good foundation for WH-Asunnot to continue the long-term and professional property ownership, where the tenants’ needs direct the operation.
